Three Little Birds @ D7 Sentul, KL
Whenever I mentioned coffee to my friend who stays in KL, I often
hear the words “Three Little Birds” – manned by the folks behind Artisan Roast,
a café that is reputed to serve one of the best coffee in town.
It was one of the roasting Saturday noon and I decided to go for a
cup of coffee since I’ve been missing out a whole lot of café hopping lately.
We ordered……..
The Bao [RM19] – a set of Nutella bao came
tucked in a dim sum basket, alongside with a coconut affogato served in a
traditional Chinese porcelain bowl at the side. I have to admit that the
concept was amazing, but the only downside was the bao didn’t have much fluffiness
to it and was very dense. Meanwhile, the ice cream and coffee combination was
great too.
Darjeeling Chiffon [RM8] – I really enjoy this soft and
fluffiness chiffon cake – it was light and had a nice hints of tea in it.
White Tea [RM13] – I personally likes this tea
very much – it have a delicately perfumy taste that’s nice and light and
vaguely naturally sweet in it.
Overall Rating: 7/10. For
me, I personally fell that this is a great place to hang out (food, coffee, etc….)
although there’s a slight unsatisfactory of the bao texture.
