Chinese New Year is around the corner and Tiger Beer, Malaysia’s No. 1 Beer, welcomed the Year of Pig with a grand launch event held at the Copper Mansion, PJ attended by HEINEKEN Malaysia Berhad’s management team, trade partners and members of media. A new chapter of life is unveiled as we step into the new year with renewed outlook on what is come with the promise of good health prosperity and joy.




Upon arrival, the venue was of utmost decadence adorned with beautiful lanterns and motifs reminiscent of old Shanghai with a modern twist in spirit of ushering the new.



Those guest who attend this event is entitled to “pluck” ang pows containing lucky draw ticket form the gilded Tree of Wealth.


The event began with a stunning lion dance performance as well as Zhu Bajie to invite luck – with each of the five lions in the colors representing the brand of HEINEKEN Malaysia portfolio – Tiger, Heineken®, Guinness, Anchor and Apple Fox.


We kick start the dinner with auspicious Yee Sang tossing ceremony to usher in the new beginnings with the wishes for a bountiful year ahead followed by dinner with unique dishes specially for the festive season.
