Road to Agro Tourism|Central Zone| with Malaysia Tourism Council (MTC)

The Road to Agro Tourism is a special program organized by Malaysia Tourism Council(MTC) with the support from Ministry of Tourism & Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) and Ministry of Agricultural & Agro-Based Industry Malaysia (MOA). The vision and mission of this program is to promote the stem-winding domestic Agro Tourism destination.


There are 6 zones of Road to Agro Tourism:
  1. South Zone (Johor)
  2. Central Zone (Perak & Pahang)
  3. North Zone (Penang & Kedah)
  4. East Zone (Terengganu)
  5. Sabah
  6. Sarawak 



Road to Agro Tourism (Central Zone) – Perak & Pahang
This round, this successful program was held on 12th – 14th December 2017 in collaboration with MTC and Malaysia Agricultural Research & Development Institute (MARDI) in Serdang


The launching of Road to Agro Tourism (Central Zone) and flagged off were held at the Head Office MARDI Serdang and was attended by approximately 40 influences including bloggers, memebers of medias, representatives from the sponsors, travel agencies, and also agencies from different departments.


Welcoming speech given by Mr. Uzaidi Udanis, the President of MTC : “The purpose of Agro Tourism is to promote our domestic tourism not only to our local tourist but also to international tourist”


Another opening speech given by YBrs. Dr. Kamariah binti Long, the Deputy Chief Director of MARDI.

Tour & Durian feasting @ MARDI Kuala Kangsar
MARDI Kuala Kangsar is open for public to pamper yourself with the alluring local fruits including durians, mangoesteens, pomelos, rambutans and many more in the month of September until March.

Malaysian Craft Perak Branch
Other than promoting Agro Tourism, one of the mission of this program is to promote the local food, homestay, handicrafts and also art & cultural of Kuala Kangsar. We were brought to Malaysian Craft Centre Perak Branch to witness and experienced in pottery and other arts – sewing.
