Yellow Apron Café @ Section 13, PJ

Have you ever indulging way too much dessert for breakfast? I did that on that sunny Saturday morning and I had a terrible urge to satisfy my savory tastebuds.

Located in the office and warehouse dominated street behind Jaya One, Yellow Apron Café owned by a good ol’ team behind Humble Pie Co. What's more? - you can grab you Musang King Pie here too.

P.S: This café serves Asian Fusion food – from sandwiches to burgers, pastas, and even some rice and noodle dishes.

Fantastically Fusion Fried Chicken Burger [RM22.50] – deep-fried battered whole chicken thigh served with coleslaw, egg, hot and spicy sambal belacan, and homemade chips. I have to admit that this chicken burger was like the name given – fantastic!!!!!! The only downside – the homemade chips at the side were overcooked.

Very Colorful Spicy Mushroom Spaghetti [RM22.50] – came with the blend of Portobello, king oyster shiitaka and white shimeiji mushrooms, this spaghetti was great but there’s room for improvement in terms of flavor.

Overall Rating: 6.5/10. Honestly speaking, I pretty enjoy the Asian Fusion concept here. However, there’s room for improvement in terms of services, food and flavor. Meanwhile, about their homemade chips – you gonna reconsider it before ordering!!!!
