Fuzio @ Changkat, Bukit Bintang
Changkat is a place which large number of KL’s most popular bars and
restaurants can be found. Located in a quieter part of Changkat, Fuzio Bar
& Restaurant is a warm and cozy Italian restaurant. Although Fuzio may look
small from the front, but Fuzio is a two-storey dining place with a roof top
lounge whereby it can be used for events including corporate events, birthdays
and even small party.
The warm lighting and cozy environment at Fuzio gave the restaurant
a refine, romantic, and classy ambiance.
Being an Italian restaurant, Fuzio offers a selections of wines to
be paired with your meal.
While waiting for the dinner to be served, we had drinks by the bar
and these were the drinks that ordered:
The Frankenstein [RM58]
Consisting of two distinct layers – red wine on top and mixture of
rum, vodka, tequila, gin and limoncello at the bottom. *Note: No Stirring required.
Pink Panty [RM32]
This felt more like a ladies drink for me, with vodka and cranberry
juice as base.
Fuzio Antipasti [RM148]
Started with gorgeous and extensive range
of Antipasti as appetizer – cecina ham, smoked duck breast, homemade lam
salsiccia (sausage), salmon carpaccio, tomato caprese, eggplant involtini,
tomato bruschetta and chesses. Honestly speaking, I seriously don’t know which
I should have first….
*Note: a platter for 2 is priced at RM88
Baked Cod Fish [RM88]
The white cod fish was executed very well -
the fish was fresh and sweet whilst the flesh was moist and silky-smooth. The
pesto mashed potato, grilled vegetables and deep fried leek was simply amazing
too - probably the best cod fish that I’ve had!
Grilled Lamb Rack [RM76]
A perfectly seared lamb rack with a layer
of cheese goat cheese doused in teriyaki sauce – the tangy and creamy goat
cheese went really well with the lamb. Personally, I think it was good on its
own without the goat cheese on top too!
Grilled Beef
Tenderloin [RM98]
The grilled angus beef was perfectly done with
tender and juicy center. Apart of the steak after melt in mouth textures, the
oven baked bag of mushroom cartoccio was amazing too.
Pappardelle with Rabbit Ragout [RM42]
Don’t
be surprise to see quite a number of rabbit dishes on Fuzio menu. Apparently,
rabbit in this dish tasted similar to chicken breast but in tuna-like textures
for me. If you’re adventures enough or wanted to try something new, this is the
best dish to order here.
Funghi Pizza [RM32]
For those mushrooms lovers, you definitely wouldn’t
want to miss out this homemade pizza – topped with thin sliced button
mushrooms, light tomato sauce, cheese and drizzled with truffle oil. The only
one word that I can think of when I’m eating was “Delicious”.
Panna Cotta with Mixed Berries Sauce [RM24]
This Panna Cotta was set beautifully with a
huge strawberry and oranges with raspberry compote. I really like this lovely
eggless custard-like pudding whereby it has a rich flavor and silky smooth
texture – Awesome!!!!
Overall Rating: 7.5/10. The dishes that I had at Fuzio
Bar & Restaurant was great, especially Baked Cod Fish which it was
unforgettable. Apart from that, the services
and ambiance were great too!! If you’re in the mood for some Italian love,
Fuzio Bar & Restaurant is the place that I strongly recommended!!!!
